ICE arrests 16 during 2-day Operation SOAR in the New York City metropolitan area

Officers from ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested 16 sexual predators during a 2-day period, in New York City, the Hudson Valley and on Long Island, in an enforcement effort dubbed “Operation SOAR” (Sex Offender Alien Removal).

Indictment targeting massive international cocaine conspiracy unsealed with arrival in US of extradited Colombian kingpin

A high-level member of a global drug ring arrived in Southern California after being extradited from Colombia on charges that he conspired to transport cocaine worth hundreds of millions of dollars from South America to Mexico for eventual sale in the United States. The investigation into this narcotics trafficking organization is being conducted by special agents with ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), among others. Full Story

2 Mexican men plead guilty for their roles in human smuggling case resulting in death

Two illegal aliens from Mexico pleaded guilty for their roles in an alien transporting scheme which resulted in death. The case was investigated by ICE HSI with the assistance of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Border Patrol. Full Story

ICE removes Guatemalan national wanted for murder

A 56-year-old Guatemalan fugitive, wanted in his home country for homicide, was removed from the U.S. by deportation officers with ICE ERO. Full Story

ICE removes human trafficking suspect wanted in El Salvador

Deportation officers with ICE ERO removed a Salvadoran fugitive who was wanted in his home country on charges of trafficking illegal persons. Full Story
