ICE removes El Salvadoran Mara Salvatrucha gang member wanted for criminal conspiracy

A 25-year-old El Salvadoran fugitive, a member of the notorious gang Mara Salvatrucha, and wanted in his home country for criminal conspiracy, was removed from the U.S. by ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Former Nazi labor camp guard Jakiw Palij removed to Germany

Jakiw Palij, a former Nazi labor camp guard in German-occupied Poland and a postwar resident of Queens, New York, has been removed by ICE to Germany. Full Story

Florida man sentenced for traveling to Dominican Republic for child sex

A Florida man was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison, and 30 years of supervised release, after pleading guilty to traveling to the Dominican Republic for engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors. The sentencing is the result of an investigation by ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Miami and the Dominican Republic. Full Story

ICE HSI Cherry Hill HERO to be honored by Philadelphia Eagles

George Riley, an ICE HSI computer forensic analyst, and a Human Exploitation Rescue Operative (HERO) Child-Rescue Corps program member, was selected as a “Hometown Hero” by the Philadelphia Eagles, in conjunction with the United Services Organization (USO) of Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, and local meat and cheese company Dietz & Watson.
