Did You Catch May’s Government Voices Webinar on the U.S. Port of Entry Process?

SEVP and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) held the Government Voices Webinar: What to Expect at a U.S. Port of Entry on May 16, 2018. CBP officers and SEVP subject matter experts had an in‑depth discussion about the U.S. port of entry processes nonimmigrant students encounter throughout the student life cycle, including:

  • Primary vs. secondary inspection.
  • Documentation.
  • How entry processes may differ at land, air and sea ports of entry.
  • Other topics related to student entry to the United States.
