Former Mexican state governor extradited to South Texas from Italy

The former governor of the Mexican State of Tamaulipas, and former candidate for the office of President of Mexico, was extradited to the United States from Italy and charged with racketeering, drug smuggling, money laundering and bank fraud. The extradition and indictments resulted from an investigation by ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Drug Enforcement Administration, the IRS Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI. ERO officers apprehended a known gang-member wanted by Interpol for murder in his home country. Cesar Isaac Erazo Euceda, 29, a citizen and national of Honduras, is the leader of a local gang known as “Flaco’s Gang.” Full Story
