7 members and associates of the Gambino and
Bonanno crime families indicted for racketeering and related charges
Following an investigation led by U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, working
jointly with the FBI and Suffolk County Police Department, six members and
associates of the Gambino organized crime family of La Cosa Nostra (the
“Gambino family”) and a member of the Bonanno organized crime family (the
“Bonanno family”) are being charged with racketeering conspiracy, including
predicate acts of loan sharking, illegal gambling, narcotics distribution
conspiracy and obstruction of justice conspiracy.

ICE arrests 101 in New Jersey operation
targeting criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants and immigration violators

A Mexican national in the country illegally, who has a
prior conviction for sexual assault on a minor, is among 101 foreign nationals
taken into custody during a five-day operation conducted by ICE in New Jersey,
targeting at-large criminal aliens, illegal re-entrants and other immigration
violators. The operation was supported by ICE HSI and U.S. Customs and Border

An indictment charging seven individuals for their
involvement in a marriage fraud ring operating out of Brevard County from 2015
to 2016 has been unsealed and brings the total arrests in this ring to nine
individuals. The case was investigated by ICE HSI Cocoa Beach office, USCIS, Fraud
Detection and National Security Directorate, the Brevard County Sheriff’s
Office, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives with
