ICE arrests 400th foreign fugitive in fiscal year 2017

Last month, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) conducted its 400th foreign fugitive arrest of the fiscal year. Since October 1, 2009, ERO has arrested and removed more than 1,700 foreign fugitives who were sought in their native countries for crimes such as homicide, rape, and kidnapping.

ICE investigation shuts down multistate drug trafficking organization

Special agents with ICE HSI, aided by investigators from the Chicago field offices of the FBI and the local police department , U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Pima County Sherriff’s Department arrested nine suspects last week as authorities moved to dismantle a Tucson-based drug trafficking ring suspected of smuggling significant quantities of narcotics including cocaine. Learn more
