25 charged in NY-area drug trafficking, robbery and firearms investigation

More than two dozen members of a Bronx drug trafficking organization were arrested following a joint operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) in New York and the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

ICE arrests Mexican, Honduran nationals after New Jersey County declines detainers

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers arrested two individuals, one from Mexico and one from Honduras, after they were released from the custody of Middlesex County with active ICE detainers in place. Full Story

Alleged Street Boss and Underboss of La Cosa Nostra Family charged with murder and racketeering

The entire administration of the Luchese Family, 19 members in total, are being charged with racketeering, murder, narcotics and firearms offenses. The superseding indictment stems from a joint investigation by ICE HSI New York, the FBI, the New York Police Department (NYPD) and the Waterfront Commission of the New York Harbor. Full Story

Officers with ICE ERO arrested a Mexican national who was released from New York City custody after a detainer lodged with local authorities was not honored. The man has multiple sexual abuse misdemeanor convictions. Full Story

A former Colombian National Army battalion commander was deported by ICE ERO after a federal immigration judge found him removable. Full Story
