ICE arrests convicted criminal alien from the Dominican Republic after detainer not honored

Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested a Dominican national who had previously been removed from the United States on three occasions after he was released from New York City custody with an active ICE detainer in place. The man has a criminal history in the United States which includes felony re-entry and assault and several felony and misdemeanor charges.

Owner of Los Angeles immigration advocacy business sentenced to more than 5 years in prison for immigration fraud

The owner and operator of a Los Angeles-based business known as the Coalición Latinoamericana Internacional (CLI) was sentenced Wednesday to five years and two months in state prison after pleading guilty to felony charges involving grand theft, attempted perjury, and conspiracy to violate the Immigration Consultants Act. HERO grad plays key role in child exploitation investigation

On the same day he was sworn in, Zabroski played an instrumental role in the identification and rescue of three young child victims of sexual abuse. CEIU’s Victim Identification Program had recently received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a series of child exploitation images. Over the course of the next few weeks after thoroughly analyzing the images, Zabroski passed along the information to the HSI office in the area where the suspect was located. It led to the arrest of the subject and rescue of the victims. Learn more

Orange County man sentenced to 190 years in federal prison for traveling to the Philippines to molest young girls and film the abuse

 A onetime school teacher who traveled to the Philippines to engage in sex with two girls and produced videos of the abuse was ordered Monday to serve 190 years in federal prison. Learn more
