Watch the FEMA SDE Modules on YouTube to learn more about the tool. Did you know? Substantial Damage planning and populating the SDE 3.0 tool are part of Community Rating System (CRS) Activity 510, if you are looking for points.

FEMA reimbursement for post-disaster floodplain and building code administration and enforcement opens up if your community gets a FEMA Public Assistance (PA) permanent work declaration for categories C-G. Monitor the designated areas for FEMA DR-4781-TX, Texas Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding, to see if your area becomes eligible. Don't hesitate to do post-disaster permitting and substantial damage inspections. Do document your work, hours, and costs closely. If PA permanent work is declared for your area, you will be ready to seek reimbursement.
