FEMA reimbursement for post-disaster floodplain and building code administration and enforcement opens up if your community gets a FEMA Public Assistance (PA) permanent work declaration for categories C-G. Monitor the designated areas for FEMA DR-4781-TX, Texas Severe Storms, Straight-line Winds, Tornadoes, and Flooding, to see if your area becomes eligible. Don't hesitate to do post-disaster permitting and substantial damage inspections. Do document your work, hours, and costs closely. If PA permanent work is declared for your area, you will be ready to seek reimbursement.
