FEMA's nationally-run flood insurance training
This webinar is a two-part course on FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). It brings participants the latest information on the NFIP, including instruction on the NFIP’s pricing methodology. Created for insurance agents with continuing education credit (CEC) varying by state. Attendees must complete both sessions in order to cover all topics required by the Flood Insurance Reform Act (FIRA) of 2004.

This proposed rule would revise the Standard Flood Insurance Policy by adding a new Homeowner Flood Form and five accompanying endorsements. The new Homeowner Flood Form would replace the Dwelling Form as a source of coverage for homeowners of one-to-four family residences. Together, the new Homeowner Flood Form and endorsements would more closely align with property and casualty homeowners insurance and provide increased options and coverage in a more user-friendly and comprehensible format.
Click here to view the proposed rule and submit comments through April 8th, 2024.
