Dear Earthquake Program Managers:
The entire FEMA NEHRP Team hopes that you all are doing well. Please allow this email to serve as a reminder to “Get Ready” for FEMA GO!
This message is the third FEMA GO “Get Ready” communications intended for applicants interested in applying for funding under the FEMA NEHRP State Assistance Grant Program. To review the first FEMA GO “Get Ready” message sent in January 2023, please visit the NEHRP eBlast Archive section of the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program’s State Assistance Program webpage.
In preparation for the upcoming release of the fiscal year 2023 funding opportunities for the Individual State Earthquake Assistance (ISEA) Program and the Multi-State and National Earthquake Assistance (MSNEA) Program, now is the time to register individuals and organizations in FEMA GO! We strongly recommend that anyone interested in applying for either of these funding opportunities to register the applicant entity and the associated individual users in FEMA’s system of record, FEMA GO, as soon as possible.
As a reminder, you must have an active System for Award Management (SAM.gov) account to apply for FEMA grant funding. The FEMA GO system will automatically import certain information from an organization’s active SAM.gov record, including the organization’s legal name, mailing and physical address, employer identification number (EIN), unique entity identifier (UEI), and the Electronic Business Point of Contact (eBIZ POC).
The individual listed as the “Electronic Business” point of contact in SAM.gov is automatically recognized as the organization’s primary Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) in the FEMA GO portal. The primary representative can perform all functions in FEMA GO on behalf of an organization, as well as add users for an organization in FEMA GO.
How to login and register in FEMA GO:
FEMA GO Help Desk
The FEMA GO Help Desk Support provides a direct point of contact for users experiencing technical issues with the system. The FEMA GO helpdesk is fully staffed, and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The FEMA GO Help Desk accepts phone call at 877-585-3242 and emails at femago@fema.dhs.gov.
