FEMA Hosts Webinar on Funding for Community Engagement About COVID-19 Vaccinations

Our nation’s best path out of the COVID-19 pandemic is for every person to get a COVID-19 vaccination as soon as it’s available to them. FEMA continues to support state, local, tribal, and territorial governments in the fight against COVID-19 by reimbursing eligible expenses related to the administration of COVID-19 vaccinations.

FEMA’s Public Assistance program will be hosting a national webinar for Public Assistance recipients and subrecipients, as well as those in the health care community, to learn about the policy that supports vaccine participation throughout communities.

As more Americans receive the Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, the end of the pandemic and a return to normal life are in sight. Join us from 2 to 3 p.m. ET on May 25 for a webinar where FEMA program experts will discuss the availability of funds to assist communities with marketing and advertising efforts to inform the public on vaccine safety and availability, as well as ensure equal access to vaccination sites. FEMA will also be joined by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) representatives who will share information about helping encourage vaccinations throughout the nation with community leaders and other resources.

To attend, you must register by clicking the below link to RSVP: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/4773229980379258127.

When you register, you will also have the option of submitting questions to be answered during the webinar.

American Sign Language interpretation and closed captioning will be available during the webinar. Participation will be limited to 3,000, but the webinar will be recorded and made available post-event on FEMA.gov.
