Today, CISA released Product Categories for Technologies That Use Post-Quantum Cryptography Standards to aid in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) adoption. The list includes hardware and software categories that use PQC standards to protect sensitive information. It focuses on categories of products that are widely used or transitioning to the use of PQC standards, such as cloud services, web software, and endpoint security.

CISA is publishing this guidance in support of Executive Order 14306 that directed DHS to develop a list of product categories in consultation with the National Security Agency to support PQC adoption.
