CISA to Highlight Agency’s Top Priorities to Secure America at 16th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit
CISA will Showcase Top Cyber Leadership, Operational Collaboration and Innovation at Annual Government-Industry Summit
WASHINGTON – The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will have an exciting lineup of cybersecurity experts and senior leaders speaking on a wide range of topics at the 16th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit this week in Washington.
The summit will feature a fireside chat with Acting CISA Director Madhu Gottumukkala on CISA’s role defending the nation against cyber threats. CISA’s new Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity Nick Andersen will deliver his first public remarks via a fireside chat, in which attendees will get a first-hand look at his primary strategic objectives and concrete actions to drive CISA towards serving as America’s primary cyber and critical infrastructure defender. Tuesday, September 9
11:25 am: CISA Interim Assistant Director for the National Risk Management Center and Acting Chief Strategy Officer Steve Casapulla will participate in a breakout session entitled, “Building an Effective Continual Risk Assessment Process.” Location: 207 B
2:10 pm: CISA Associate Director for Vulnerability Management Sandy Radesky will participate in a panel discussion entitled, “Managing a Vulnerability Crisis.” Location: Ballroom A
Wednesday, September 10
10:40 am: CISA Associate Director of Threat Hunting Jermaine Roebuck will participate in a breakout session entitled, “Understanding Today’s Most Advanced Cyber Hackers.” Location: 204 BC
11:40 am: CISA CIO Robert Costello will participate in a breakout session entitled, “Fostering Better Collaboration with Your Supply Chain Partners.” Location: 202 B
Thursday, September 11
8:40 am: Acting CISA Director Madhu Gottumukkala will participate in a fireside chat entitled, “CISA’s Role Defending the Nation Against Cyber Threats.” Location: Ballroom A
10:20 am: CISA Deputy Associate Director for Vulnerability Management Jay Gazlay will participate in a panel discussion entitled, “AI is Writing Code – but Who’s Watching the Machines?” Location: 207 AB
4:35 pm: CISA Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity Nick Andersen will participate in a fireside chat entitled, “Moving CISA Forward in Defending America.” Location: Ballroom A
The Billington CyberSecurity Summit will take place September 9-12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, Washington, D.C.
