The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Readiness and Response, is delivering a virtual event as part of CDC's Public Health Emergency Preparedness program webinar series. During this webinar, CISA will share insights on conflict prevention strategies and offer targeted violence prevention considerations to enhance safety and security, while increasing personal resilience in healthcare and public health (HPH) communities.
Speakers will also introduce tangible ways to identify and mitigate incidents of targeted violence. Participants will learn to recognize the warning signs of someone on a path to violence and the actions that security and other staff can take to prevent a potential incident of violence before it materializes.
