The Immediate Aftermath:
What Short-term Recovery Looks Like
The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in partnership with the Oregon Department of Emergency Management and the Idaho Office of Emergency Management, is holding the sixth webinar in the monthly seminar series - Mass Casualty Impact and Recovery - which examines how businesses, organizations, and individuals can better prepare for, respond to, and recover from active shooter and other mass casualty events.
On August 17, 2023 (12-pm ET / 9-am PT), this 90-minute virtual seminar - The Immediate Aftermath: What Short-term Recovery Looks Like - will offer insight to assist stakeholders with understanding how to engage recovery resources and how to provide help to employees, staff, and individuals within and outside the organization. Recovery from a traumatic event - like an active shooter incident - can be a lengthy process and organizations can help personnel begin their journey in the aftermath of such events.
This series of webinars is intended for members of the private sector interested in enhancing their organizational preparedness before a mass casualty or active shooter incident.
Each seminar will offer IACET CEUs for each seminar, in compliance with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.
