 Phight the Phish!
We have reached Week 2 of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, with the theme "Phight the Phish!" This week is dedicated to increasing awareness of phishing attacks, as they occur frequently at work and on personal devices.
As a form of social engineering, Phishing occurs when a bad actor poses as a trusted source, organization, or entity to steal personal information via maliciously crafted emails or websites. Once a bad actor has learned personal information, he or she is able to gain access to online accounts and damage them.
It is CISA’s mission is to conduct security assessments in partnership with critical infrastructure stakeholders, vendors, integrators, as well as other government departments and agencies. Cybersecurity Awareness Month offers an array of resources that you can share with stakeholders and personal networks, and also are available throughout the year. Please join us for all we have to share this week!
