Correction: Coast Guard awards $51 million contract for Chase Hall Annex A renovation

Editors Note: This contract is funded by Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations. WASHINGTON — The Coast Guard awarded a $51 million contract on Aug. 25, 2026 to renovate Chase Hall Annex A at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. The contract awarded to The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. of New Haven, Connecticut, will repair the oldest and most historic portions of Chase Hall to improve quality of life for cadets and support the Academy’s long-term mission.
