Update 2: Port Condition WHISKEY Set for Ports of Saipan and Tinian

The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam has set Port Heavy Weather Condition (PHWC) WHISKEY for the Port of Saipan and the Port of Tinian, effective 0630 ChST, Aug. 22, 2026.
The Port of Saipan and the Port of Tinian are open for commercial traffic and cargo operations. Tropical Storm Saudel no longer threatens the ports, but mariners are urged to transit the area with caution in the event of any shifting or shoaling within the channel.
