1. This ALCOAST announces the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA)
Open; this world class event promotes camaraderie among past,
present, and future Coast Guard Service members, and generates
critical financial support for the CGMA mission.
    a. This year's CGMA Open will be held 10 to 12 NOV 2026 at
Reunion Resort and Golf Club in Kissimmee, Florida.
2. CGMA Community.
    a. The CGMA Open brings together members of the Coast Guard
community and supporters for fellowship, competition, and support
of the CGMA mission.
    b. The event is open to active duty, reserve, civilian Coast
Guard personnel, auxiliary, and retired, as well as family and
friends.
3. CGMA Open; Registration and Lodging.
    a. Registration includes three rounds of golf on
three separate championship courses, tournament events, select
meals, and additional hospitality experiences throughout the
property.
    b. General Admission Registration is open through 01 OCT 2026 and
is limited to 240 participants. Entries received after that date
will be accepted on a space-available basis.
    c. After registration is complete, participants will receive the
reservation link to access CGMA's special hotel group rate of $199
per night, plus applicable taxes, for two and three bedroom
accommodations. This discounted rate is for a limited time and
subject to availability. Early bookings are encouraged.
    d. Lodging is not included and must be booked separately.
4. Scholarships, Grants, and Discounts.
    a. CGMA is offering a limited number of scholarships for active
duty members E-6 and below. Scholarships cover tournament
registration. Recipients are responsible for travel, lodging, ground
transportation, and incidental expenses.
    b. Scholarship applications must be submitted by 01 SEP 2026,

    c. Discount registration is available for Active Duty E-6 and
below, O1/O2, and civilian employees GS-7 and below.
    d. Members can reach out to their local unit MWR representatives
to inquire about the Coast Guard Community Services Command (CSC)
Morale, Wellness, and Recreation (MWR) Sports Participation Grant
Program.
5. In accordance with paragraph 2.A.10 of REF (A) and subject to
command approval, administrative absence may be authorized for
military members on active duty orders other than active duty for
training. Civilian employees wishing to participate in this event
may use annual leave, accrued compensatory time off, earned credit
hours (if available), or leave without pay.

7. CGMA is the official relief society of the U.S. Coast Guard and
has provided over $260 million in assistance to Coast Guard members
and families since it was founded 1924. CGMA relies on the
