SUBJ: RESERVE PERSONNEL OFF-SEASON ASSIGNMENT SOLICITATION
A. RESERVE POLICY MANUAL, COMDTINST M1001.28(series)
1. Multiple positions remain vacant after Assignment Year 2026 (AY26).
These positions are advertised on the RPM-2 SharePoint site at
https://uscg.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/psc_spo/psc-rpm/RPM2.
2. Interested reserve members should contact their assignment officer if
they desire to apply for a position on the vacancy list. All members
interested in applying for a vacancy require a command endorsement
addressing backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential gap
through Assignment Year 27 (AY27). Applicants will be vetted, and positions
on the vacancy list will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Members applying should anticipate a report date of 01 October 2026, if
selected. E-resumes shall include a command endorsement addressing
Backfill requirements and acceptability of a potential gap.
3. Additional applicants will not be accepted after 01 September 2026, and
all un-filled vacancies will be added to the AY27 shopping list.
4. These assignments are standard tour lengths as described in reference (A).
