SUBJ: CG MUTUAL ASSISTANCE (CGMA) 2026 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN –
AUGUST LAUNCH!
1. Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) 2026 Annual Campaign will
kick off on Coast Guard Day this year – August 4th! Although the
Annual Campaign is typically held in April, the adjustment allows
commands additional preparation time to support the campaign.
2. To ensure maximum participation and visibility, Commands must
identify and register a designated CGMA Annual Campaign
Coordinator NLT 22 June 2026. To register, follow these
instructions:
a. Visit this link:

https://portal.mycgma.org/s/
b. Log in to the CGMA Portal
c. Under "My Account," select "Campaign Coordinator Sign-up"

CG Portal Online at:

3. Title 10 U.S. Code designates CGMA as the official military
welfare society for the U.S. Coast Guard.
a. CGMA provides grants and interest-free loans across more than
40 individual programs to support our entire Coast Guard community,
including Active Duty, Civilian Employees, Reservists, Auxiliary,
Retirees, and eligible dependents.
b. As the Coast Guard's Official Relief Society,
Commanding Officers, Officers-in-Charge, and supervisors are
permitted to designate Annual Campaign Coordinators, authorize
CGMA awareness events, and permit limited use of official time to
distribute Annual Campaign materials in accordance with applicable
policy.
4. Commands shall dedicate 30 minutes in August for a CGMA Campaign
All Hands to educate personnel on CGMA programs, impact, and ways
to support the mission.
5. CGMA is funded entirely through voluntary donations. The Annual
Campaign is critical to sustaining CGMA's ability to provide grants,
interest-free loans, and emergency assistance across the
Coast Guard community.
6. If you already donate to CGMA, thank you. If you don’t yet
donate, Active Duty Members, Civilian Employees, and Retirees can
support CGMA through allotment or payroll deduction. All donations
are voluntary; however, members are strongly encouraged to consider
starting or increasing their allotment. CGMA is a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit, EIN 31-1801931. Gifts are tax-deductible as allowed
by law. There are two ways to give:
a. Allotments or payroll deductions may be established at:

b. Members may complete a pledge form provided by their unit
Campaign Coordinator during the Annual Campaign.

"Helping Our Own." Every dollar donated ensures CGMA can respond
quickly when members face uncertainty. For information about
