A. U.S. Coast Guard Regulations 1992, COMDTINST M5000.3B
1. At the direction of the President of the United States in honor
of Memorial Day, the flag of the United States shall be flown at
half-mast on Monday, 25 May (beginning at midnight on Sunday).
2. The national ensign shall be flown at half-mast on all
U.S. Coast Guard buildings, grounds, and vessels not underway.
3. Internet release is authorized.
