U.S. Coast Guard sent this bulletin at 03/25/2026 11:55 AM EDT
The Fox Valley Railroad Bridge just East of the Kedzie street bridge from April 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026, between the hours of 0600 and 1800, Monday through Friday, There will be a 40-feet by 60-feet sectional barge setup within the draw of the bridge. The barge is monitoring VHF-FM Marine Channel 16 and will move if provided with a 2-hour advance notice from vessels. During non-working hours the barge will be moored outside of the navigation channel and be lighted in accordance with the navigation rules. All mariners are to proceed with caution.
