1. In accordance with references (A) and (B), a Reserve Officer Active Status
Panel (ROASP) is scheduled to convene on 15 September 2025 to recommend Coast
Guard Reserve officers for retention in an active status.
2. Eligible Officers: Officers with Reserve commissions in the grade of
Commander and below, who have been non-selected one or more times on the
Active Duty Promotion List (ADPL) or Reserve Component Manager (RCM)
promotion list to the next higher grade and are scheduled for release from
active duty may apply. Interested officers must apply for ROASP while on
Extended Active Duty (EAD) prior to being separated or released from active
duty and entering the IDPL.
3. Application Window and Process: The application window for this Panel
is now open through 5 September 2025. All eligible officers should submit
complete application packages to ARL-SMB-CGPSC-R2R-ROASP@uscg.mil.
Applications submitted prior to the release of this message will not be
accepted and must be resubmitted in accordance with this message.
Additionally, applications submitted after RELAD or separation from EAD
will be returned without action. Application packages must include the
following documents:
a. A command-endorsed, written request in CG standard memo format in
accordance with reference (C). A signature endorsement from the
member's command is required on the application memo for processing.
b. Approved separation authorization issued by CG PSC-OPM-1.
4. Application Due Date: Complete application packages for this Panel shall
be submitted no later than 5 September 2025 per reference (B). Late or partial
application packages will not be accepted and returned without action.
5. Candidates are encouraged to contact the Reserve Assignments branch ahead
of the Panel to discuss potential Reserve assignments:

6. Applicants are encouraged to review reference (B) to prepare for the Panel.
