SUBJ: *UPDATE* FY25 SOLICITATION FOR LEADERSHIP COURSES
1. The Office of Leadership (DCMS-DPR-5) is announcing the updates
to leadership training opportunities for remaining Fiscal Year
(FY) 2025. Course information, training objectives, prerequisites,
application procedures and deadlines are located on the DPR-5
website:

2. The following Coast Guard Officer, Enlisted, and Civilian
Leadership Continuum courses are available for the remainder of
FY25:
     a. Midgrade Officer and Civilian Transition Course (MOCTC)
(100139)- All student quotas filled with significant waiting list.
Look for solicitation for FY26 this fall.
     b. Senior Leader Transition Course (SLTC) (100437)- 05 remaining
sessions have limited available space. Submit Electronic Training
Request (ETR) in Direct Access (DA) if interested. Preference will
be given to O-4s and GS-13s; In/Above-Zone O-3s and GS-12s are
encouraged to apply.
     c. Senior Leadership Principles and Skills (SLPS) (501316)- 01
remaining session has limited available space. Submit ETR in DA if
interested. Preference will be given to O-5s and GS-14s; In/Above
-Zone O-4s and GS-13s are encouraged to apply.
     d. Command Assignment Preparatory Training (CAP-T) (502809)-
01 remaining session has limited available space. Submit ETR in DA
if interested. Preference will be given to CO's currently in non-
Sector Command who have not attended CAP-T and Prospective
Commanding Officers slated for AY25 command-ashore in paygrades O-3
thru O-6.
     e. Chief Warrant Officer Professional Development Course
(501614)- All student quotas filled with significant waiting list.
Look for solicitation for FY26 this fall.
     f. Team Leader/Facilitator Course (500203)- 07 remaining sessions
have limited available space. Submit ETR in DA if interested.
Preference will be given to those within local commuting distance.
     g. Apprentice Leader Program (ALP) (502203) - 01 session open
only to PA3s who have not attended ALP. If you wish to attend
contact the PARFMC at charly.a.tautfest@uscg.mil.
     h. Leadership and Management School (LAMS) (340720) - 40 sessions
remaining in this FY. Before submitting an ETR, research all
information on the LAMS SharePoint page. LAMS is a Service Wide
Requirement needed before 01FEB26 for the 2026 SWE.
     i. Chief Petty Officer Academy (CPOACAD) (230442) - 05 sessions
remain in FY25. 08 quotas were added to each convening for the rest
of the FY to help address E-7 backlog. ETRs will be first come,
first served. If you are an A2P to E-8 or E-7, reach out to program
manager listed below for Direct Slating.
     j. Senior Enlisted Leadership Course (SELC) (501799) - 01 session
remains in FY. Submit ETR and school chief will reach out for
scheduling.
     k. Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy - (AFSNCOA)
(400301) All quotas for remainder of the FY are accounted for. Look
for solicitation for FY26 this summer.
     l. Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy - (AFNCOA) (501358)
All quotas for remainder of the FY are accounted for. Look for
solicitation for FY26 this summer.
     m. United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy - (USNSEA) (400302)
All quotas for remainder of the FY are accounted for. Look for
solicitation for FY26 this summer.
     n. Joint Special Operational Forces Senior Enlisted Academy -
(JSOFSEA) All quotas for remainder of FY are accounted for. JSOFSEA
has moved to a new program manager, COMDT (CG-7213).
3. FY26 C-school course build is in progress. Coast Guard members
should anticipate the release of FY26 C-school schedules via ALCOAST
in late FY25 and be prepared to submit ETR's in DA through their
Education Services Officer (ESO)/Training Officer (TO) as soon as
they are able.
