SUBJ: TEMPORARY FLAG OFFICER AND SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSIGNMENTS
1. In order to meet current and growing demands, the Coast Guard has
adjusted flag officer and senior executive assignments as follows:
    a. Mr. G.C. Rasicot as interim Director of Staff.
    b. RADM M.H. Day as acting Deputy for Personnel Readiness.
    c. RADM C.L. Jacoby as acting Deputy for Materiel Readiness.
2. The establishment of the Director of Staff position is an early
action from USCG Force Design 2028 under the leadership of the
Senior Advisor to the Secretary for the Coast Guard. This position
will provide oversight and leadership though the executive
decision-making process and move the Service forward on critical
projects.
3. The DCMS position shall remain vacant.
4. VADM Peter W. Gautier, Acting Vice Commandant (VCG), sends.
5. Internet release is authorized.
