1. REF (A) announced a pause in Partnership in Education (PIE)
activities to allow for a review of program requirements to ensure
alignment with REFs (C) through (F).
2. The programmatic review of PIE is complete, and REF (B) has
been updated to reflect the resulting changes. All PIE coordinators
and any personnel involved in planning and executing PIE-related
activities shall review the changes made to the PIE Program in
REF (B) and reach out to the Civil Rights Directorate (CG-00H)
with any questions. A list of Civil Rights Service Providers can be

3. Effective immediately, PIE activities may resume. It is the
responsibility of PIE coordinators and their Commands to ensure
adherence to the policy in REF (B). PIE coordinators should
closely monitor the PIE hub for further details and information
about an upcoming virtual event to discuss the program and answer
