SUBJ: OFF SEASON SOLICITATION - AST- AIR STATION VENTURA
A. Military Assignments and Authorized Absences, COMDTINST M1000.8A
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting candidates to fill the following AST1 position:
GRADE POSN NR UNIT/POSITION LOCATION
AST1 00023557 ASLE-DUTY Ventura, CA
2. Selected member will have a report date OOA 01 DEC 2024.
3. Members who are tour complete in Assignment Year (AY) 2024 and/or
in receipt of AY24 orders will not be considered for this position.
4. Interested candidates shall submit a PCS eResume in Direct Access
using the position number listed above NLT COB 08 AUG 2024 ensuring it
is forwarded to the unit command for endorsement. Commands shall address
any backfill requirements. Commands should be advised that immediate backfill
will not be available until normal AY25 timelines. Members holding MH60 Rescue
Swimmer Instructor and Flight Examiner are desired.
5. As a As a reminder candidates should ensure their Official Military Personnel
File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards, academic
transcripts, etc). Members can view their OMPF at: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil).
Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI. The ESS provides a
consolidated view of their information as it appears in Direct Access. This
serves as a means for every Coast Guard member to review their personal data
and to ensure the information is up to date and accurate.
