1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following EPO position:

2. IAW reference (B), Phase 1 candidates are defined as members who are  

below the currently published cut line within their stratified list on the current,  

active advancement eligibility list.    

3. Report date OOA 01 SEP 2024. 

4. Interested EPO candidates shall ensure they receive the appropriate command  

endorsement and meet the requirements of section 1.C.7 from reference (A) or have  

successfully screened for EPO in Assignment Year (AY) 2024.  

5. Interested EPO candidates shall submit one PCS eResume in Direct Access using the  

position number listed above NLT COB 09 JUL 2024. The requested EPO position  

should be listed above any general duty positions on the eResume.  

6. A2P may be used to fill this position if a candidate meets the criteria in  

reference (B). If a qualified E7 is selected, the member will advance to E8 IAW  

reference (B), if all other advancement requirements are met and the  

advancement recommendation is maintained.  

7. Members applying for an A2P solicitation shall notify their XO of their intention  

to compete for A2P assignment prior to the eResume submission deadline and  

email a copy of the notification to the Assignment Officer. 

8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military 

Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s,  

awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF by logging onto  

iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the OMPF are needed, members  

can work with their local Personnel & Admin office. Members are also  

encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
