1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following E-7/E-6
positions:

2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date OOA 01 SEP 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 9 JUL 2024.
5. Members applying for these A2P solicitations shall notify their
XO or the first E-7 in their chain of command of their
intention to compete for these assignments prior to the eResume
submission deadline listed in paragraph 4.
6. Members in Special Assignments may apply to these positions.
However, these members must receive a command endorsement addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
for Special Assignments are not available and will incur a gap at their
unit until AY25.
7. E-7s/E-6s in receipt of AY24 PCS orders may not apply to these positions.
E7s/E6s desiring to fill the above positions who are not tour complete are
eligible to apply and will have priority over those E6s/E5s who do apply.
However, these members must receive a command endorsement addressing
backfill requirements. Commands should be aware that immediate backfills
are not available and will incur a gap at their unit until AY25.
8. A2P may be used to fill these positions if candidates meet the criteria
in ref (B). If a qualified E-6/E-5 is selected, member will advance
to E-7/E-6 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
9. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: iPERMS RMA (uscg.mil). If updates to the
OMPF are needed, members can work with their local Personnel & Admin
office. Members are also encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
