1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following EMC position:

2. IAW ref (B), Phase 1 candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line within their stratified list on the current,
active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date OOA 15 AUG 2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit a PCS eResume in Direct Access NLT
COB 11 JUNE 2024.
5. A2P may be used to fill this position if a candidate meets the criteria
in ref (B). If a qualified E6 is selected, the member will advance to E7 IAW
ref (B), if all other advancement requirements are met and the advancement
recommendation is maintained.
6. E7s in receipt of PCS orders may not apply to this position. E7s desiring
to fill the above position who are not tour complete are eligible to apply
and will have priority over those E6s who do apply. However, these members
must receive a command endorsement addressing backfill requirements. Commands
should be aware that immediate backfills are not available and will incur a
gap at their unit until AY25.
7. Members applying for this A2P solicitation shall notify their XO or the
first E7 in their chain of command of their intention to compete for this
assignment prior to the eResume submission deadline listed in paragraph 4.
8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military Personnel
File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards, academic
transcripts). Members can view their OMPF by logging onto iPERMS:
https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/. If updates to the OMPF are needed,
members can work with their local Personnel & Admin office. Members are also
encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI.
