2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 3 candidates are defined as members who are marked “Recommended”
and “Ready” on their most recent Enlisted Employee Review and meet all time in grade and
time in service requirements for the May 2024 SWE.
3. Phase 1 candidates IAW Ref (B) may apply.
4. Report date OOA 01 JUL 2024.
5. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS eResume in Direct
Access NLT COB 08 APR 2024.
6. Members applying for this A2P solicitation shall notify their XO or the first E-7 in
their chain of command of their intention to compete for this assignment prior to
the eResume submission deadline listed in paragraph 5.
7. A2P may be used to fill these positions if a candidate meets the criteria
in Ref (B). If a qualified MBR is selected, the member will advance
to the next higher pay grade IAW Ref (B) if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
8. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/. If
updates to the OMPF are needed, members can work with their local
Personnel & Admin office. Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI.
