OPPORTUNITIES
1. This message announces the AY24 positions still available 
for assignment opportunities. 
2. Reserve Officers should follow the request processes outlined in
reference (D) to ensure eligibility requirements are met. 
Advertising of a position does not guarantee an officer will be 
assigned, and some Reserve contracts will not begin until after 
30 September 2024.
3. These positions are also available to those Reserve officers or 
ADPL officers interested in cancelling a separation or voluntary 
retirement to remain on active duty service per reference (C). 
Interested officers should contact the appropriate Assignment 
Officer as soon as possible. 
4. The Officer Assignment Opportunity list is available as a 
sortable spreadsheet on the OPM-2 Sharepoint site at 
https://uscg.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/psc_spo/psc-opm/SitePages/OPM-2.aspx. 
Off-Season positions are highlighted in red and can be
sorted by "OFF-SEASON" under the "Reason Shopped" category (column K).
The date of the most recent update will be noted at the top of the 
spreadsheet.
