1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting for candidates to fill the following
GMC positions:
GRADE POSN UNIT LOCATION
GMC 00039004 CGC MOHAWK KEY WEST, FL
GMC 00064578 TACLET PACIFIC SAN DIEGO, CA
2. IAW Ref (B), Phase 1 Candidates are defined as members who are below
the currently published cut line with their stratified list on the
current, active advancement eligibility list.
3. Report date 01JUL2024.
4. Interested candidates shall submit one PCS E-Resume in Direct
Access NLT COB 19FEB2024. A Direct Access command endorsement is
required for TACLET PACIFIC in Chapter 1.C.12.e.2. of Ref (A).
5. A2P may be used to fill this position if a candidate meets the
criteria in Ref (B). If a qualified E6 is selected, the member will
advance to E7 IAW Ref (B), if all other advancement requirements
are met and the advancement recommendation is maintained.
6. As a reminder, candidates should ensure their Official Military
Personnel File (OMPF) is complete and accurate (e.g. CG-4082,
CG-3307s, awards, academic transcripts). Members can view their OMPF
by logging onto iPERMS: https://iperms.mymilrecord.uscg.mil/login/.
If updates to the OMPF are needed, members can work with their local
Personnel & Admin office. Members are also encouraged to review their
ESS in CGBI.
7. Commands shall address any backfill requirements and specify a required
reporting date. Commands should be advised that immediate
backfills are not always available and requirements for one will
be factored into candidate selection.
