1. In accordance with the Commandant's 100 Day Action Plan,
Operational Logistics Command formally established
Base Borinquen on 12 Dec 2023 in a ceremony with
LCDR Thomas Kai assuming command. The establishment
formally converted the former Base Detachment into a base
and provides a new junior command opportunity for the
mission support enterprise. Base Borinquen will continue to
champion Coast Guard mission support integration across its
Area of Responsibility supporting our operational partners,
while delivering exceptional customer focused mission support.
2. Command relationships and organizational changes are
outlined in REF (B).
3. RADM C. J. List, Commander, Operational Logistics Command
(LOGCOM), sends.
