1. In accordance with the Commandant's 100 Day Action Plan,
Operational Logistics Command formally established Base
St Louis on 30 Nov 2023 in a ceremony where LCDR John Waters
assumed command. The establishment formally converted the
former Base Detachment into a Base and provides a new junior
command opportunity for the mission support enterprise.
Base St Louis will continue to champion Coast Guard mission
support integration across its Area of Responsibility supporting
our operational partners on the Western Rivers and in the
Heartland of the United States, while delivering exceptional
customer focused mission support.
2. Command relationships and organizational changes are
outlined in REF (B).
