1. IAW refs A thru D, the Leadership Special Assignment Positions (LSAP)
Screening Panel convened 16 October 2023. The list of candidates who screened
successfully can be viewed at https://uscg.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/psc_spo/psc
-epm/epm-1/Boards%20and%20Panels/SitePages/Enlisted-Panels.aspx. The list is
sorted alphabetically by last name.

2. Successful screening does not guarantee assignment to an LSAP position.
Members who screened successfully will be contacted by the Special Assignments
Officer stating whether or not they have been selected for an LSAP assignment.
Those selected and released from rating will be given e-resume instructions
including deadlines. LSAP candidates must remain compliant with ref D and E
throughout the assignment process to be considered for assignment.

3. Members shall not engage their respective Assignment Officer to seek a
release from rating, as this will be handled by the Special Assignments Officer.

4. The number of candidates who screened successfully for each position is
listed below:
a. CPO Academy Instructor: 12
b. Recruit Company Commander: 43
c. LAMS Instructor: 4

5. The Precept which convened this Panel and charged the members with their

assignment process or shopping lists should be directed to the Special
Assignments Officer, CWO4 Derek Hardy at Derek.Q.Hardy@uscg.mil.

7. Although the proceedings of the Panel, including its deliberations
and criteria for selection, cannot be disclosed to any person who was not a
member of the Panel, Panel members do have valuable information that can be
shared regarding the general selection process and its fairness and equity.
