1. This ALCOAST announces updates to specific reserve enlisted
workforce management programs outlined in REF (A).
2. The Reserve High Year Tenure (R-HYT) policy, outlined in Section
10.B.7. of REF (A) is suspended until 1 January 2025.
3. Effective immediately, reserve enlisted members who reach or
exceed their Professional Growth Point (PGP) on or before
1 January 2025, to include members serving on a current R-HYT
waiver, shall not be separated under the R-HYT policy outlined
in REF (A). Members serving on an expired R-HYT waiver with an
approved separation authorization prior to 1 January 2025 should
contact CG PSC-RPM-1 regarding the potential for continued service
at the following email address:
HQS-SMB-CGPSC-RPM-1-Status@uscg.mil.
4. CG PSC-RPM is currently analyzing whether to hold a FY2025
Reserve Senior Enlisted Continuation Board (R-SECB), as
outlined in chapter 7 of REF (A) and will make a recommendation
to COMDT (CG-1M). Reserve senior enlisted personnel
are encouraged to view and validate the accuracy of their
Coast Guard Military Human Resource Record (CGMHRR) in accordance
with REF (B). To find out more about viewing your CGMHRR via the
interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS),
