1. Due to the major damage caused by Typhoon MAWAR, a stop
movement for all Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves to Guam for
Service members and their dependents is in effect until 30 June
2023.
2. Detaching commands should make every effort to contact impacted
members to advise them of this message. Affected Members who have
not already been contacted by the MAWAR Personnel Support team
should contact the MAWAR Personnel Support hotline between the hours
of 0700-1800(CHST) Guam time or 1700-0400 (EDT) Eastern Daylight
Time at (833) 872-4778, option 1. After MAWAR Support hotline
closure (currently scheduled as 01 JUL 2023 but could potentially be
extended to a TBD future date), contact the PCS Assist Team at
(844) 727-2022.
3. This stop movement order affects all service members scheduled to
report to commands and activities on Guam. Members with PCS orders
to commands in the affected area who have not yet detached from
their current Permanent Duty Station (PDS) are highly encouraged to
remain in place at their current PDS.
4. Members executing an outbound PCS from Guam may proceed when
travel is available.
