AUTHORIZATIONS

1. In Accordance with reference (a), the Office of Cyberspace 
Forces (CG-791) collected applications for Chief Warrant 
Officers seeking to lateral into the new Cyber Mission 
Management Specialty. The following 15 applicants are
authorized to transition into the CMM Specialty:

2. Applicants listed above shall retain their current date of 
rank and precedence order in the Register of Officers. 
3. Any selectee that no longer desires to lateral into the CMM 
Specialty should contact OPM-1 within 5 days of the release of 
this message. Those that accept lateral transition shall incur 
four years of obligated service that may be completed 
concurrently with other obligated service.
4. Officers lateraled into the CMM Specialty will be assigned 
into relevant cyber billets. This lateral transition has no 
impact on current tour completion dates or AY23 assignments. 
Short tour requests may be submitted in AY24 where specialty 
mismatches are created by the lateral transition. The CMM 
assignment officer is CWO Brian Kaseman.
