Meet the rescue swimmer who saved a man after a massive wave capsized a yacht

  • His very first real-world rescue went viral

Officer Evaluation Reports getting a major overhaul

  • The changes will better meet officers’ needs
  • The new OERs will be more consistent, more efficient, and help reduce inflated appraisals
  • There’s an online form to submit recommendations
  • OPM also needs volunteers for focus groups

New policy: Members recovering from sexual assault may use non-chargeable convalescent leave

  • Victims deserve meaningful recovery services
  • There’s no limit to the amount of leave available
  • “This policy is flexible enough to support survivors who need additional time to aid their healing process, either following an assault or anytime thereafter.”
