Meet the rescue swimmer who saved a man after a massive wave capsized a yacht
- His very first real-world rescue went viral
Officer Evaluation Reports getting a major overhaul
- The changes will better meet officers’ needs
- The new OERs will be more consistent, more efficient, and help reduce inflated appraisals
- There’s an online form to submit recommendations
- OPM also needs volunteers for focus groups
New policy: Members recovering from sexual assault may use non-chargeable convalescent leave
- Victims deserve meaningful recovery services
- There’s no limit to the amount of leave available
- “This policy is flexible enough to support survivors who need additional time to aid their healing process, either following an assault or anytime thereafter.”
