1. This ALCOAST announces the extension of REF (A) which updated the
Coast Guard Clemency Board review process contained in REFs (B) and
(C).
2. The Coast Guard Clemency Board will continue to review and
consider for residual clemency completed court-martial cases only
upon a service member's affirmative petition for clemency.
3. REF (B), paragraph 11 (c) now reads "Coast Guard Clemency Board
shall review and consider for residual clemency completed court-
martial cases only upon a service member's affirmative petition for
clemency."
4. REF (C), article 1.F.6.d.(4)(a), and 1.F.6.d.(4)(b) now reflect
Coast Guard Clemency Board shall review and consider for residual
clemency completed court-martial cases only upon a service member's
affirmative petition for clemency.
5. This policy change will be incorporated into the next revision of
REFs (B) and (C), which will be released within the next year.
