1. The following critical-fill Reserve assignment opportunities exist at Chief
Petty Officer Academy, TRACEN Petaluma, CA:

2. Chief Petty Officer Academy instructor positions provide a unique opportunity
to strengthen the Chiefs Mess by helping other Chief Petty Officers further
develop their leadership skills as they relate to systems and strategic thinking,
diversity, ethics, communications, as well as health and well-being. This
assignment will help bolster leadership knowledge, skills, and abilities to a
wide array of Chief Petty Officers, Master Sergeants, and International students.
3. Interested applicants shall submit an e-resume with positive command
endorsement through Direct Access. Applicants unable to access Direct Access
may submit form CG-2002 via e-mail to the RPM-2 Point of Contact listed below.
   a. Applicants who are not tour complete shall obtain a command endorsement that
addresses early departure, backfill requirements, and acceptability of a
potential gap. Applicants in receipt of AY22 orders shall obtain command
endorsement from their receiving command.
   b. The assignment is a standard tour length as described in REF A.
   c. Applicants must be a graduate from the CPOARSV or DoD Senior Enlisted Course.
4. Process/timeline:
   a. NLT 28 AUG 2022: Submit PCS E-resume in Direct access with command endorsement.
   b. OOA 29 AUG - 09 SEP 2022: LDC interviews applicants.
   c. OOA 15 SEP 2022: RPM-2 makes assignments.
   d. The expected report date is OOA 01 OCT 2022.
