"Payslips" for the 15 June  2022 payday are available in Direct Access. Report any discrepancies through the P&A Office (Admin) to the SPO. If SPOs cannot address or need assistance, the SPO will submit a trouble ticket. Payslips can be accessed via the Self-Service "View" menu.

The more you understand some of the basics of the various pay, special pays, and allowances, the better you are able to make sure the information we need to compute your pay each month is up-to-date. The tool available to all military members each payday is the Direct Access Payslip. This report lets you know the information our systems use to process your pay, details about the pay and allowances you are eligible for, payroll deductions, as well as your leave balance. The following guides will help you understand your Payslip.

The mid-month payday is Wed, 15 June 2022. Paydays are the 1st (end-month) and the 15th (mid-month) of each month, or the business day preceding the 1st or the 15th if either should fall on a federal holiday, Saturday or Sunday. Members should not set up automated payments or assume funds will be available prior to published paydays. Members should verify with their financial institutions as to the actual time funds are available to their accounts. See "When is Payday?"  for more information.

Standard Mileage Rates for Official Travel (Flag Voice 579)

The IRS just announced increases to the standard mileage rates that will go into effect on 01 July 2022. These increases will directly affect the mileage reimbursement rate for PCS and TDY travel for military members and civilian employees alike. The mileage rate for PCS travel will increase from $0.18 to $0.22 per mile, and the mileage rate for TDY travel will increase from $0.585 to $0.625 per mile.

Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) Advances and Claims CG Portal Site

The link to access the new Sharepoint platform is https://cg.portal.uscg.mil/units/fincen/SitePages/TLAClaims.aspx. Within the platform, users will have access to view the user guide to assist with processing claims as well as the ability to view the FINCEN Review workbench to see where claims are in the process.

October 2022 Reserve Servicewide Exam (RSWE) Announcement

The RSWE will be administered on Saturday morning, 22 October 2022. The October 2022 RSWE is waived for: BM1, BM2, CS2, IS2, IV2, ME2, MST2, PA1, PA2, SK2, and YN2. These rates will continue to be administered as a supplemental advancement list. For planning purposes, the BM1 RSWE may be implemented in 2023.

Government Travel Charge Card (GTTC) Program: Financial and Travel System Transition Guidance - Update

ALCGPSC message 081/22 cancels ALCGPSC 056/22, further restricts the use of the Centrally Billed Account (CBA), and extends the expanded use of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Individually Billed Accounts (IBA) to support travel until the Financial Systems Modernization Solution (FSMS) Incident Management Team (IMT) objectives are met. These policy waivers offer a reliable means of financial support, particularly for Permanent Change of Station, Long-Term TDY, and Disaster Evacuation Orders. Members who currently do not possess a GTCC are strongly encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible to prevent unnecessary charges to the CBA.

Orders for Courses of Instruction of Less Than 20 Weeks

This ALCOAST announces changes to Coast Guard Supplement to the Joint Travel Regulations (CGS-JTR), COMDTINST M4600.17B to further the Coast Guard's commitment to providing stability for Coast Guard members and their families in support of a mission-ready total workforce. All members with dependents will be issued TDY orders for courses of instruction of less than 20 weeks, including to OCS and applicable class "A" and "C" schools.

ETS Group Travel Authorization Process Guide

Groups over 10 members that are going to the same location can use the group authorization in ETS. When completing the authorization the major and minor must be the same for all members otherwise ETS will not allow for selecting the members in the group authorization.
