1. The PERSONNEL READINESS TASK FORCE (PRTF) announced in REF A is a
five-person team consisting of three officers (O-6, O-5, O-4/3) and
two enlisted personnel (E-9/8, E-7/6). The team reports to the Vice
Commandant each month on innovative solutions to enhance personnel
readiness and retention consistent with the Commandant's Guiding
Principles. In addition to overall readiness of the workforce, the
team implements recommendations to improve inclusion and a culture
of respect in the Coast Guard.
a. Description of duties: Advise on personnel, budget, strategy
formulation, communications and contribute to major tasking and
objectives as identified/directed by the PRTF.
2. Eligibility: Assignment is open to all Active Duty E-9/8 and
E-7/6 members tour complete in AY22 or AY23 who meet the special
assignments criteria in CH.1.E.2.a of REF B.
3. Application: Applicants shall submit an e-Resume in Direct Access
for position 00019852 (E8/E9) or 00019824 (E6/E7) NLT 30 Sep 2021 to
include:
a. CO Endorsement addressing members potential to serve on the PRTF.
b. Member's comments detailing any special skillsets that would
benefit PRTF.
4. Selectee will be notified SEPCOR with PCS orders to report NLT
01 Jul 22 to CGHQ, Washington D.C.
a. This is a one-year assignment. Selected applicant should be
prepared to transfer in AY23.
