MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Coast Guard to conduct an overflight of areas impacted by Hurricane Ida

WHAT: Coast Guard is conducting an overflight of areas impacted by Hurricane Ida
WHEN: Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 at 4 p.m.
WHERE: Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Coast Guard Road, Belle Chasse, LA 70037
NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard is scheduled to conduct an overflight Monday of areas impacted by Hurricane Delta.
A Coast Guard air HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane will conduct assessment operations of areas that may have been damaged by the hurricane. Max seating available is six.
Media planning to participate in the overflight must arrive no later than 3:45 p.m. Monday and must follow proper CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
