RESULTS
1. OVERVIEW: A special AY21 Chief Warrant Officer assignment panel to fill 
the FIRST LIEUTENANT/SAIL MASTER (position 00035103) on USCGC EAGLE will convene 
on 12 JAN 2021. Due to the unique nature of this assignment, any member that is 
currently a BOSN or any member whose name appears on Ref C, including those BELOW the 
published cut, may apply.  To be considered by the panel, members must submit a Panel 
Submission via Direct Access NLT 06 JAN 2020. 
2. PANEL SUBMISSION - Directions on how to submit an e-resume to
screen for this panel are listed below. 
    A. Log in to Direct Access
    B. In the "EMPLOYEE" box, click "Tasks"
    C. Select "My Panel Submissions"
    D. When the search screen appears, enter the following:
Panel Source: Drop down menu to "Command Screening" then “Go”
AD/Res Ind: "Active Duty"
Bus Unit: "Warrant"
Job Code: "201095"
    E. Click "Search"
    F. The WBAFSC BOSN Afloat Cmd Screen Panel will appear. Check the "Apply” check box. 
    G. Click the “Submit” button. 
    H. A waiver or a command endorsement may be needed: 
	1. Candidates who are tour complete and currently a CWO, a command 
endorsement is not required and member comments are not required. Click "Save," 
this will complete your Panel Submission. Note: you will not receive a confirmation 
email from Direct Access.
	2. Candidates who are tour complete but NOT currently a CWO above the 
published cut off, a waiver is required. Click the "Edit” button and enter your waiver
request in the member comments. Click "Save," this will complete your Panel Submission. 
Note: you will not receive a confirmation email from Direct Access.
        3. Candidates NOT tour complete and currently a CWO, only a 
Command Endorsement is required. In the “Endorser” field enter the EMPLID of the 
person endorsing your application. All BOSNs not tour complete in AY21 must have a
Command Endorsement to screen that addresses any backfill concerns. Click “Save”. 
The 1st Submitted Endorser will update to reflect the ID entered in the Endorser field.
        4. Candidates NOT tour complete and NOT currently above the published 
cut off, both a Command Endorsement and member comments requesting a waiver are 
required. See instructions above.  
    I. Members unable to connect to Direct Access due to being underway
or other extenuating circumstances may communicate their requests to
screen via e-mail to the POC listed in Para 4. However, in such
instances officers must follow up with a Panel Submission as soon as
Direct Access connectivity is available.
3. All members should verify their Direct Access information is up to
date and accurate.
