SUBJ: CRITICAL FILL SOLICITATION - DC2 - INDEPENDENT DUTY
A. Military Assignments and Authorized Absences, COMDTINST M1000.8A
1. PSC-EPM-2 is soliciting candidates for the following independent
duty critical vacancy:

2. Selected member will have a report date OOA 15 DEC 2020.
3. Interested candidates should submit an e-Resume with command
endorsement IAW reference (a), including an endorsement for
independent duty, and the acceptability of a potential gap by
COB 04 SEP 2020.
4. CGC KANKAKEE has mixed gender berthing and is available
for both male and female DC2s.
5. If there are no volunteers, all DC2s in paygrade mismatched
positions and DC3s above the cut for DC2 will be considered. Members
in receipt of AY20 PCS orders will not be considered for this
assignments.
6. As a reminder candidates should ensure their EI-PDR is complete
and accurate (e.g. CG-4082, CG-3307s, awards, and academic
transcripts). Members can request a copy of their official record
by submitting a signed CG memo to CG PSC via email at
ARL-PF-CGPSC-MR_CustomerService@uscg.mil. Members are also
encouraged to review their ESS in CGBI. The ESS provides a
consolidated view of their information as it appears in Direct
Access. This serves as a means for every Coast Guard member to
review their personal data and to ensure the information in Direct
Access is up to date and accurate.
