SUBJ:  2020 COAST GUARD (CG) CIVIL RIGHTS AWARDS
1. Each year the US Coast Guard and the Department of Defense (DoD) partner
with Affinity Groups to salute military members and civilian employees
for their civil rights accomplishments and contributions to fostering
diversity within our Service. This partnership offers an excellent
opportunity to recognize CG personnel who promote community service,
diversity and equal opportunity for all in the Federal workforce.
2. Awards programs enhance the personal and professional development of
CG personnel. All commands are encouraged to support these important awards
and events through nominations and attendance.
3. The 2020 awards and training programs information is listed below.
While some dates and locations are not yet published, historically
the conferences and award programs occur during the month listed.
